Trail Overview
This road is definitely one of the more challenging roads in the area. The road doesn't see much maintenance. There are several washouts and rugged gravel spots where water flows freely down it. Several shelf sections have a steep drop-off to one side and the road will narrow to one lane. At one spot, there is a good-sized stream that runs under the road and turns into a small waterfall on the other side. Be prepared for debris and downed trees. This road would be a challenge climbing from the bottom to the top or a sliding hazard going down in the winter.

Difficulty
Due to lack of maintenance, this road will be challenging in the winter. There are several spots where water washes into the road and freely runs down it. Several narrow shelf sections make two-way traffic difficult with a steep drop on one side. The road is rough and rutted in some wash sections and steep banks could cause rubble to fall into the road as well as downed trees.
