Trail Overview
This a seasonal road that ascends/descends the Canisteo River Valley. The road is in relatively good shape due to logging activity at the north end. In colder temperatures and snow, travel up and down the road can be difficult or dangerous. The road has great views of the valley and the Canisteo River. One spot has a great scenic view up the valley to the west with the river and train tracks.

Difficulty
During colder months with snow, this road will be very difficult or dangerous. It has a steep incline in some sections. A section toward the bottom has some exposed rock, but in its current shape, it won't cause any problems for standard vehicles.
