Trail Overview
Sweeney Road eventually turns into Ford Road at the intersection of Bauchman Road. Sweeney Road is in relatively good shape during the warmer months but the hill can be difficult with snow on the ground. There are deep ditches and the road drops away on a sharp turn on the hill. The road will develop ice and make it difficult to navigate. The Ford Road section is relatively flat but will drift over in heavy snow and wind. In the warmer months, it has some nice views and provides a nice shaded drive. The Finger Lakes Trail (Bristol Hills Section) intersects Sweeney Road at the top of the hill and there is space to park a car near the trail intersection.
