Trail Overview
Forest Road 4672 is a beautiful and easy forest trail that connects from the main paved road (Clackamas River Highway) to the paved FR 4670. There are several offshoot trails that can be explored along this route. A handful of primitive camping spots were also noted. The trail is wide at the beginning/end but has some narrow sections in the middle where vegetation is growing into the road. Wider vehicles will likely brush. The trail itself is easy and capable for even 2WD vehicles, with just washboards and potholes to navigate throughout. Classic to the region, downed trees on the trail is not an uncommon encounter. Active logging in the area was noted - be cautious of potentially working equipment. The area is unmaintained (closed) in the winter and early spring months. No cell service.
