Trail Overview
The route South out of Jordan Valley into the mountains jumps back and forth across the Idaho/Oregon state line numerous times. And each time it does, it changes names. From Pleasant Valley to Soldier Creek, and then to Juniper Mountain. The nine-mile stretch on the Oregon side is Soldier Creek Road. It is a wide, graded gravel road. The little town of Jordan Valley is the only option in the area to refuel and reprovision so most adventures pass through there.
