Trail Overview
This rocky, rutted trail heads off into the wilderness and passes across the ridgeline with outstanding views of the surrounding Steen Mountains. There is plenty of wildlife, including deer and wild horses, to spot along the way. There is also a ton of downed juniper trees cut and disked. Use caution when wet and watch for mud holes. The trail ends at a great little dispersed camping spot with a fire ring that appears to be a short walk from the Bill Tauber wild cabin site. Two bars of Verizon LTE fade in and out.
