Trail Overview

A beautiful, easy gravel road ride with a fun little dirt two-track spur. The primary surface is a very well-groomed, 1- to 1.5-lane wide gravel road. There are numerous areas to pull over and get out to explore, picnic, or park for day-use. This is a great alternate route into Black Moshannon State Park from the town of Snowshoe.

The primary surface is well-groomed gravel. The optional spur should be avoided if the vehicle is not high clearance 4x4.

i took this trail hoping to make my way towards snow shoe and then realized that the original description had it gated somewhere along the trail. it was a nice run down to the gate with maintained gravel with some potholes scattered throughout. from the south to the north the gate is about half way from the end of the trail. there are plenty of other gated trails to park for hiking or hunting along the route.
