Trail Overview
Little Flat Tower Road is a newly designated out-and-back drivable trail in Bald Eagle State Forest. Even though it is a short drive, it leads to a beautiful historic cabin and fire tower. From the beginning at Laurel Run Road, it is a constant climb in elevation until you reach the end at the cabin. Here, you can walk around and explore the area. Unfortunately, the cabin and tower are not open to the public. Several hiking trails converge in the area, including Mid-State Trail and New Laurel Run.

Difficulty
The first half is a very easy drive. At this point, you come to the open gate and a small parking area. From here, the road turns to dirt with an occasional small rut or wash. When it is wet, the road will be muddy.
