Trail Overview
The Middle Ridge Trail is a single track that starts and ends off the ends of the Henstep jeep trail, just adjacent to Hunter Rd. It might be the most challenging trail in the Bald Eagle Forest area. Beginning from the west end is a problematic rocky hill climb to start your ride, then leads to a reasonably smooth, narrow track with overgrown bushes and trees. Several extensive rock gardens of varying size and complexity are interspersed along the way. Much of the ridgeline is heavy encroaching brush, tree limbs, and bushes. The trail is disused and unmaintained, and riders rarely ride its entire length. As it connects to Spring trail, the west extremity is the most heavily used section. All Bald Eagle forest trails require a plated motorcycle.

Difficulty
Due to the extent of the heavy amount of rock gardens and loose rocky grades, I would not recommend of any beginner riders. You should consider yourself at least an intermediate skill level to complete.
