Trail Overview

Ramm Road (southern side of Pine Mountain Road) is a 3-mile dirt and gravel road that runs north-south from Pine Mountain Road and Shaw Mountain Road. Ramm Road Vista is 1.5 miles from either end of Ramm Road South. It has a great view of Rauchtown and the Nippenose Valley.

Difficulty

Ramm Road South is an easy road for any 4x4 vehicle. It is mostly graded gravel with a few dirt sections that are flat and compacted very well. There is no winter maintenance on this road, so please travel with caution during the snow and ice season.

Access Description

To access Ramm Road South, you have to take Pine Mountain Road east out of McElhattan, Pennsylvania, to run it from north to south. To run it from south to north, you have to access it from Shaw Mountain Road.
