Trail Overview

The Beaten Path lives up to its namesake, the trail is hardpacked sand with multiple mud holes in the middle of the trail; however, they're easy to bypass under normal conditions. There is one large obstacle that comes shortly after the intersection with Blackdog's Boulevard, or before the intersection, if you're coming from the campground. As you approach the intersection, you come to a large mud pit that's roughly forty yards long. You can bypass it by using a cut-through that is just before the intersection with Blackdog's Boulevard if coming from Heritage Trail or just before the mud pit itself if approaching from the campground. The remainder of the trail has several more mud holes but nothing too challenging to detract from the beautiful scenery around you.
