Trail Overview

Trail 28 is a two-way moderate trail that runs alongside Trail 20. Trail 28 is very similar to Trail 20 and provides adventurists with an alternative route to navigate the hill section. Trail 28 has an entrance/exit on Trail 20 at one end then an entrance/exit beside Trail 20 on the other end. The trail is a mix of loose rock and packed dirt with mild ruts.

Difficulty

Expect an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, sand, erosion, and washes. There are potential water crossings up to 18 inches deep, mud holes, and obstacles up to 2 feet, including ledges and short, steep grades.
