Trail Overview
The Francis Marion National Forest, just north of Charleston, South Carolina, is a tribute to the famous Revolutionary War hero, the Swamp Fox, Francis Marion. This park covers the entire Middle Atlantic coastal forests ecoregion and the Subtropical coniferous forest, and it has a ton of different trails to explore. This particular trail starts from the main road and leads to a great spot for two vehicles to camp at the end of the road.
