Trail Overview
This road is an easy 4.6-mile one-way road that leads to a popular Black Hill spot, Flannigan's Cabin, aka Miner's Hotel. The road traverses through various terrain and is wider on the south end and just wide enough for a side-by-side or Jeep on the north end. There are a couple of cattle gates that you need to go through along the way. After recent rain, the road can be quite muddy, but no deep mud holes. On the north end of the trail, there is a turnaround and ample parking for 20+ vehicles. Two hiking trails are found off each end of the parking area. To get to Flannigan's Cabin, take the walking trail for an easy 10-minute hike along Slate Creek leading to the Miner's Hotel.

Difficulty
Road is fairly easy as the Forest Service has bulldozed the southern portion recently which has removed many of the muddy areas but some can still be found. The northern portion has some rocky spots and is narrower.
