Trail Overview
This is a dirt trail that runs along the cliff edge of Buffalo National Grasslands overlooking part of the Badlands and offering numerous boondocking locations. Both north and south ends of the trail are along Highway 240. The trail offers expansive views of the northern parts of the Badlands to the east.

Difficulty
Some large potholes along southern trail access point and a mildly steep section on the mid-north end of of the rim section. Can be driven with 2wd vehicles with moderate ground clearance. Most RVs can access the entire length with caution.
