Trail Overview
AOP 7 - Ascension can be quite a slippery slope when wet. When the trail is dry it is a fun hill climb for all vehicle types. Trail 7 - Ascension features two uphill climbs with two distinct turns. The first climb and turn is well packed with softball to volleyball-sized rock for increased traction. The second climb and turn is the opposite, as it is mainly dirt with a high center with exposed rock face and roots. Once at the top, the trail starts to level off before it connects you to the next adventure.

Difficulty
The second half of the upper section of Ascension has a high center from tire tracks and wheel spin. With continued traffic and rain, this trail is sure to become more difficult as time passes. This trail is still easily passed if you have more than 18" of ground clearance or are comfortable with your diff dragging the center section.
