Trail Overview

This route is a rocky trail that wraps around the side of the mountain. Provides a very scenic trail in winter when leaves are off the trees. The trail can become overgrown in the summer months and can become a tight trail. This is a narrow one-line road. Airing down will make this trail a little easier but it is a rough road because of the baseball size rocks all over the trail. Also, this can become very muddy at certain times of the year.

Traveling north, the trail is fine for most vehicles. Very rocky at some parts with some rocks the size of a cantaloupe. Almost at the end of this portion, the ruts get pretty bad and there was a mud hole I did not want to mess with. We backed out and did not finish this trail. If you attempt this, I would recommend something that is definitely lifted with big wheels. A normal factory setting vehicle (even if it is 4x4) may have trouble with the ruts and the mudholes towards the end.
