Trail Overview
Trail G33 takes you from 83 - American Knob to the intersection of Trails G37, 3, and 5. it is not directly accessible to G5 as it would seem according to the park's map. This shorter trail is an easy "blue" trail, even with the "G" in its name indicating it is a gravel trail. With most of the trail being a downhill portion rolling off of 83, washouts are very common. With continued braking and rainfall, water will wash off the mountain quickly, leaving fine bits of shale rock and loose dirt.

Difficulty
This steep descent can cause you to loose control if the environment was correct. No large boulders or mud holes on this side of the mountain as its a constant drop of elevation.
History
This trail gets its name from our guide's near death experience almost driving off trail 45! He was looking for a quick return back to camp from this trail to G5 in the fog! Stay diligent and check your brakes!
