Trail Overview

Hall Top climbs 1,500 feet over the five-mile route from the rhododendron-shaded valley to the rocky peak above. Most of the route is maintained, but some steeper sections are rocky and require a driver to slow down a bit or endure the bumpy ride. At the top, you'll find a fire tower from the 1930s. Although it's missing some of the lower steps, it's obvious that visitors still climb to the top levels frequently. The views of the surrounding Appalachian peaks are astounding.

fun little trail not very hard it very narrow and other people was coming off the top of the trail had to go slow the hole way to make sure didn't hit people coming down

Hit this trail after Jeep Invasion. Trail was mostly gravel, very easy and great views. Went with another Gladiator, took us about 2 hrs. The whole trail was done in 2WD.

Cool trail, great for training, testing, dry runs, whatever. Very easy drive with lots of places to pass, just go slow around the blind corners...had a speeder nearly ram us off the road today, luckily we had room to get over far enough to hear the driver yell "sorry!" as he continued blazing down the trail.

easy enough for the first few miles but is getting progressivly more washed out, leading to more technical sections. overall fun bumpy drive.
