Trail Overview
FR30286-Big Bench Loop is a 3-mile unmaintained hard-packed dirt and rock trail rated 2 of 10, located in the Dixie National Forest, Pine Valley Ranger District. This trail is predominately used as a cross-connect trail between Water Canyon Trail (FR30002) and Pine Road (FR30001). FR31006 crosses open country and several small (usually dry) washes. Crossing Rock Hole Wash, the Rock Hole Corral will be visible to the north. Visitors should plan carefully and be prepared for backcountry travel conditions. This trail is not recommended during winter as snow accumulates above 5,000 feet. Don't expect cell phone reception in this area; the nearest services are in Enterprise or Veyo.
