Trail Overview

The trail is mostly open with a loose sandy makeup. There are multiple steep hill climbs with the occasional embedded rocks to be aware of. The trail does lead into a few sand washes that are rocky as well. A lot of the difficult areas have multiple routes moving forward, so you can choose how difficult you want the trail to be.

Multiple steep hill climbs with rocks embedded can make this difficult. Some climbs also have drop-offs on the other side of the crest, so be aware of what is beyond the crest of the hills being climbed.

Access Description

There is an open area on the west side of the highway at the start of the trail. If starting the trail from the east, there is a long paved road that can be taken north of Green River.
