Trail Overview
Providing access to other roads and trails deeper into the Uinta National Forest north of Strawberry Reservoir, Coop Creek connects US Highway 40 through the mountains to the West side of the Currant Creek Reservoir. Cell service is spotty and a signal booster may be needed to get better service. While there isn't much camping along this particular road, there is some at either end, and access to many other trails provides further options. On the east side of Coop Creek is an area known as "Cow Camp" with an old farmhouse or barn. Watch for cattle on the road.

Difficulty
Gravel road with gentle grades wide enough for two vehicles. The road has many long sections of wash boarding, which is the greatest obstacle on the road.
