Trail Overview
The Dealership Draw single track is one of the known ways to connect Warner Valley Road up to the top of the mesa in the Sand Mountain Open Riding Area, although it is very technical and challenging. If up for the challenge, this avoids having to go to the Far East end of the mesa, or the West Rim to get up on top of the mesa (or off of it). This whole trail is in the Open Riding Area. It starts with a very sandy climb up a wide sandy trail from Warner Valley Road that takes you to what looks like the top of a sand dune. You may not notice at first the crack in the rock layer to the left that is the crux of the trail. This advanced crux up a very steep rock ledge will get you up on top of the next layer of rock. It goes right on the edge of the rock layers on a narrow trail on rock that is covered in sand, so it can be slippery. The actual crux is like a chute with a rock face that you need to carry momentum up without looping out your bike. After the crux, it continues to the right, right on the rim of the mesa on an easy dirt single track. It turns north at the corner of the mesa and goes up a second crux that is much easier. It's a big sandy hill climb with several ledge obstacles with embedded rock layers covered in sand. If you make it this far, you can access many technical rock crawling trails on top of the mesa.
