Trail Overview
This is an easy 1.4-mile segment of the Enduro Loop that connects the northern portion of the Enduro Loop to the Big Drop. To get to the northern start of this trail, take the rocky Jeep road D2778 from the end of the 9-mile northern segment of the Enduro Loop. The single track starts as a wide dirt trail, with some slab rock and embedded rocks in the trail. It goes on top of the mesa with cool boulders and pinyon pine trees. It starts wide then narrows up. It goes over long sections of slick rock. It's pretty flat for the 1.4 miles, only gaining 250 feet in elevation. The hardest part is all of the sandy whoops that get tiring. After this portion of the Enduro Loop, take D2747 and Dubinky Well Road down to the entrance to the Big Drop, which is one of the hardest parts of the Enduro Loop.
