Trail Overview
This trail connects two other Forest Service trails in this area, #41040 and #40608. By connecting these trails, you can go up to Tip Top or over to I-70 and ride the trails north of the interstate. Recent heavy rains left the trail muddy in places, but otherwise, it's an easy ride. It's primarily a dirt trail that goes through the burned area and drops another 500 feet down from Tip Top. This trail may be accessible in the springtime from the bottom, but over the top won't be open until July if there is a good amount of snow.
