Trail Overview
This 5-mile-long ATV trail in the Uinta National Forest is an easy and wide trail for 50-inch vehicles that goes along a ridgeline between 8 and 9 thousand feet of elevation. It meanders through grassy fields and lush aspen groves with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, still capped with snow in late spring. There are small rocks, roots, and ruts in the trail at times, but it is mostly smooth and fast. It's very gradual throughout the 5 miles, with small grades, and is mostly flat along the ridgeline and along a fence line. It crosses some dirt roads but is well-signed and easy to follow. This trail is open June 1 through October 31. You can ride it in late spring depending on the snowpack for the season. It can definitely still have snow drifts in June when it opens.
