Trail Overview
This 2.5-mile segment of Klondike Bluffs is a fun ride on slickrock in a classic Moab landscape. The south end starts pretty wide as a dirt trail in a wash, then meanders into the rocks. It starts to go up the slab rock face at a fence line. There are white paint markings on the slab that you'll follow up the mesa. It's a pretty gradual slope that isn't too steep and would be easy/moderate for an ATV or dirt bike. There are small ledges or cracks in the slab, but anything more difficult has an easy line around it. It stays pretty wide the whole time, but the north end is a bit harder to follow when it turns into a jeep route and continues up the white slab rock. The north end connects to Klondike Bluffs Jeep Trail. This is a fun one for ATVs or dirt bikes and goes through a unique red sandstone landscape. You'll likely see mountain bikers here too.
