Trail Overview
Oil Well Wash is a continuation of D7400 in the wash as it keeps going north in a red sandy wash below interesting-looking desert bluffs and colorful hills. There's a bit of loose rock in the wash, but no obstacles or ledges. The trail goes through a really scenic area, with tall rock/dirt walls next to the wash. At one point, there are huge chunks of boulders that fell off the surrounding cliffs into the wash, which are wild to see. The wash goes all the way out to a major dirt road that will take you north to Crystal Geyser Road.
