Old Woman Power Line

Trail Overview

This stretch of road was created several decades ago to install a large string of power lines. This section stretches between Wide Hollow and the Old Woman. The road is unmaintained and continues to become more narrow and rougher with each passing year and storm. The area is covered in sage brush, oak brush and sparse cedar trees. The area does harbor several species of wildlife from elk, deer, coyotes and other smaller varmints. There are some beautiful views to the South, East and West as you crest several small horizons.

Difficulty

The road is unmaintained and becomes narrower with each passing storm which causes the road to wash out a bit more. The road is still passible by high clearance 4x4 vehicles but is best suited for UTV/ATV and motorcycles.
