Trail Overview
Richard's Hollow is a popular and fun trail taking you from Left Hand Fork canyon up to Forest Service Road 052. Or you can take the Richard's Hollow Elbow to a higher point on the road where it meets the road to Logan Peak. The lower part of the trail has a lot of foot and bike traffic be alert for others on the trail. There are a few obstacles, with one challenging rock section on a steep side hill that will require some spotting and help for most riders and is the main reason for the difficulty rating. As you continue up the trail, there are a few more obstacles, but the trail is awesome as it continues toward the top. There is a little of everything on this trail. There's flowing smooth, rocky, roots, creek crossing, and some mud in the spring. The trail will come to a fork toward the top. The main trail goes to the right for a short section up to the main road. Taking the left fork will take you on Richard's Elbow, which is a longer continuation of the trail.
