Trail Overview
Sky Ranch Overlook is a 2.2-mile out-and-back trail to a scenic overlook rated 2 of 10. This is an excursion trail off of the Hurricane Cliffs Trail. This trail is predominately a dirt track that crosses the top of the Pearce Wash. Crossing this plateau you may encounter grazing cattle. The end of the trail is a sloping rock trail climb to the overlook. At the top resides a US Flag which is visible from all over the Hurricane Valley below. Looking down is the community of Sky Ranch an upscale community with a private airport for the residents. Although the trail can be accessed year-round it may be very muddy in the late fall through early spring months. Return the same route back to Hurricane Cliffs Trail and continue your adventure on the plateau.
