Trail Overview
This is an almost 2-mile-long single track in the Uinta National Forest that goes between the Center Gwt single track and Sheeps Creek-Rays Valley Road. It's a narrow trail through tall skinny aspen trees and pine trees, following a drainage along the Third Water Creek. It has lots of shelfy spots elevated above the creek, some embedded rock, roots, multiple creek crossings, and potential for downed logs. There are a couple of sudden sharp corners around the trees, and the trail is pretty tight through the trees. The creek crossings are rocky, but shallow since this is a really small creek. The views along the trail are really pretty, looking towards the surrounding snow-capped mountains in springtime.
