Trail Overview

Classic Vermont class 4 road that cuts across Willoughby State Forest and accesses Wheeler mountain. The road is in relatively good condition with only a few difficult spots. There are not many pull-offs or places to turn around so be aware. It cuts across some private land so please tread lightly. There is rock climbing and hiking at a small train head that crosses the road.

little washed out but nothing major

Impassable after last house past the trail head with a car, you with need a 4x4 SUV or truck to make it past the washout area. Fun little washout to navigate through. Fun road overall.

Average Runoff as expected after July 10th and 11th but still very passible. please tread lightly
