Trail Overview

Trail 230 is one of several short motorcycle trails in the Whistle Lake Area. It's a wide dirt path with a few embedded rock surfaces, embedded boulders, and big roots, but it is overall a very easy trail. It goes between tall skinny red alder trees, sword ferns, and thick cedar trees in a really scenic and dense forest with lots of shade coverage and moss on all of the trees, which is very typical of the Pacific Northwest. Any of the bigger features like rocks and roots can be ridden around since the trail is so wide. This trail can be accessed from motorized trail #21 on the north end, but dead ends on the south end at two unmotorized trails, so it has to be ridden as an out and back.
