Trail Overview
This excellent trail starts out on paved a paved road at an elevation of 2,154 ft and finishes of with a spectacular view overseeing the area north of Chewelah WA at an elevation of 3,767 ft. Cliff Ridge starts out easy enough on a paved country road and transitions to a gravel road that gets increasingly less maintained as you advance. once off the roads you will find a seemingly unmaintained overgrown trail with potential for downed trees and other obstacles that you may have to contend with. With limited cellular communication access, it would be a good idea to bring a chainsaw and have a winch handy during your adventure up to the lookout point of Cliff Ridge. Most of all don't forget your camera to capture some of the spectacular views you will see not only during the ride to the top but also the amazing almost 360-degree overview of the area you get when you complete this trail.
