Trail Overview
Cougar Spur road runs through the Gifford Pinchot National Fores. It is a short and easy natural surface road. However, it is overgrown, and you will get pinstripes, but there are two camp spots on it if you are looking for a more private area off Cougar Road. There are some lovely views as you leave this route. The road does end in a tight spot, so turning around can be difficult; if you are a larger vehicle, I would turn around at one of the camping spots.
