Trail Overview
Paralleling Rock Creek (river), this trail climbs up the mountainside towards Rock Peak. There are a couple of offshoot trails from this one, as well as a few primitive camping spots along the way. Occasionally you can catch glimpses down the hillside at the surrounding forest. The trail is open to all vehicle types, but it is overgrown with vegetation and seems unmaintained as the trail itself is in rough shape. Deep potholes, erosion ruts, and low-hanging trees will be encountered. Unfortunately, this trail has become impassable due to massive fallen trees four miles in. Bring a chainsaw if interested in clearing. The area is unmaintained (closed) in the winter and early spring months. No cell service.
