Trail Overview
Forest Road 6020 connects from Big Lava Bed Trail to Forest Road 24 (Berryfields). There are several offshoot trails from off of this road. Scattered primitive camp spots were noted along the way. The trail is a typical mountain road, complete with washboards, potholes, and minimal erosion sections. Nice and wide open for vehicles to be able to pass. Downed trees were present on the road, but all were passable. Signs were noted: "No commercial removal of forest products behind sign"; "Road closed to wheeled vehicles Dec 1 - April 1" (for winter recreation). Intermittent cellular service.
