Trail Overview
The Gold Creek Trail is a nice drive or family adventure just outside Cliffdell, Washington, with a smooth and easy forest service road. But before you even hit the trail, you'll be treated to a pretty drive on Highway 410, which winds its way along rivers and offers stunning scenery. Then, you'll cruise through a beautiful forest with awesome views of trees, valleys, and mountains (Mount Rainier and Mount Adams can be seen on a clear day), and there are tons of camping spots to hang out for the night. The trail ends at Gold Creek Trailhead, where you can hike to your heart's content, and afterward, head to Whistlin' Jack's in Cliffdell for some delicious grub and souvenirs to remember your trip.
