Trail Overview
Green Mountain/NF 2680 is a 5.7-mile out-and-back spur trail off of Suiattle Road. Green Mountain is a steep climb out of a valley, featuring lots of switchbacks and an elevation gain of 2,200 feet. This trail is mostly hard-packed dirt with some sections of soft dirt and loose gravel. There are some large rocks embedded in the road surface, along with some deep holes creating short off-camber sections for 4-wheeled vehicles. The trail appears maintained, with some repaired washout sections. Approximately 2 miles up is a repaired washout with some small undercutting (see pictures). Heavier rigs should use caution across this section. The trail ends just after the Green Moutain hiking trailhead, which is easy to miss.
