Trail Overview

Jam is the first ATV trail that most riders will take out of the Walker Valley Staging Area. It exits the parking area on a wooden bridge to start the trail and goes one mile south to intersect with Muddled Meanderings. This trail is very wide and easy and could be a good practice trail for kids or novice riders. There are a few ruts, small roots, and loose rocks to watch out for, but it stays easy the whole route. It's mostly flat too, only losing 100 feet of elevation over the course of a mile. You'll likely have to dodge some mud puddles as well.

Access Description

The Walker Valley ORV Area is a small trail system with about 20+ ATV and dirt bike trails. ATVs must be 48" or less. The staging area is a dirt parking lot with a U-turn for trailers that is accessed off of Walker Valley Road west of Big Lake. It's a popular trail system, great for families and beginner riders. It is well-signed throughout the system, as it is a bit of a maze of trails. It has a mix of easy and intermediate trails in a lush and dense forest typical to the Pacific Northwest. A Washington State Discover Pass is required for all vehicles. It is very busy on weekends.
