Trail Overview
Judy's Grade is an easier ATV Trail in the Walker Valley ORV Area (designated for vehicles 48" or less). It's less than a mile long and is consistently wide. The west end starts off of DNR Rd 17, and you can either go west over a wooden bridge, or east towards the intersection with Langley's Legacy Trail. The trail going east stays relatively easy the whole way. It goes through an area of short pine trees and tall grass with lupin flowers on a dryer hillside, which is a different terrain than most of the other trails that are down in the dense jungle-like forest. It has easy sweeping turns, easy grades, and some embedded rock, but stays pretty smooth. It's a constant climb up and does have one shelfier section as it traverses the side of a hill. The shelfy spot is a bit narrow for an ATV, having to also navigate the roots and rocks, but easy for dirt bikes. There is one larger and taller embedded boulder face that you have to go up that is the hardest part of the trail, but it is somewhat like a ramp, so it stays easy difficulty.
