Trail Overview
This six-mile trail is one long continual hill climb/descent that leads up to the Black Pine Lake Campground/Lake. There are warning signs at the top: "Narrow Steep Road", and "No Trailers" due to the steep nature and occasional tighter corners; likely to deter large camper trailers from attempting it. Despite its more steep nature, it is still 2WD friendly with nothing of difficulty to note. Occasional shelf drop-offs that offer views of the surrounding forest. The area is unmaintained in the winter and early spring months. No cell service.
