Follow the trail and observe the beautiful views of the mountainous ranges when the deep forest areas clear. Once at the Zig Zag Lake Trail, there's a wide parking area. The trail has a mixture of gravel in some areas, hard-packed rocks in other areas, and some stretches of primitive unmaintained trails along the way. Also, beware that some areas are overgrown and the trail becomes very narrow.
