Trail Overview
This trail is the section of BLM Route 9188 that runs east to west from the trailhead at Lower San Rafael Road and goes left at the first intersection. It follows a wash for several miles with unique canyon dirt walls and a couple of dirt ledges. It is easy, fast, flowy, and easy to follow in the wash the entire way. There are two dirt ledges up to four feet high that you have to carry momentum for and launch up. The trail ends when it turns into a jeep road. Ride this trail in connection with the northern section of 9188, as well as 9172 for a fun half-day ride.
