Trail Overview
Camp and drive around Kaibab National Forest, just a few miles south of the Grand Canyon. There is a loop in the area that takes you past a fire tower to historic Hull Cabin. Along this trail is free camping and enough room for Large RVs. Settle in and start exploring. Unlicensed OHVs are permitted. Start in Tusayan to take the route in reverse and avoid going through the park.

Difficulty
Easy: The main route is wide maintained gravel. Alternate loop 303 is easy, but narrows to one lane in places with a few muddy spots here and there.
History
Hull Cabin was built in 1889 by Phillip and William Hull and used as a sheep camp until 1907. At that time, it was purchased by the Forest Service and converted to a ranger station. The cabin is no longer in service and was locked up when we visited. Still, there is much to see. As you look around, please leave everything as you find it.
