Trail Overview
While being surrounded by towering mountains and scenic views, this easy trail through the beautiful Pahsimeroi Valley takes you right by Barney Hot Spring. Barney Hot Spring is more accurately described as lukewarm with a temperature similar to a swimming pool. Thanks to humans, there are now goldfish that inhabit its waters and thrive year-round. There is also a campground next to Summit Creek right across the road from the spring. This campground has a couple of vault toilets but doesn't have any hookups or fresh water. Low clearance vehicles should be cautious with a couple of cattle guards along the way but overall, it is smooth going.
