Trail Overview

The eastern end of this trail connects with the Tule Divide Trail, which is rated 3/10 (4+/10 if wet). Once you split off Tule Divide, this trail immediately becomes 4/10 (if wet, probably a 5+/10). It's mostly hardpack dirt (with high clay content making it very slick when wet) with sections of sand and rock gardens with rocks up to about 18 inches. Expect lots of ruts and washouts. The western end has some fun creek crossings that require careful line selection.

Some weather did a number on the trail. Very washed out at the bottom of the trail with large rocks in stream. Possible to bottom out and cause body damage. There is some 1-2 foot ledges to hop up. One section of the trail got washed out and a “new way” has been made. It is about a 8-10 foot dirt wall that is rutted out and about at a 70°-80° slope. have to drive up at a 45° angle and be careful of the other side at the top. There is a 2 foot ditch. Once you get out of the bottom the rest of the trail is ok.
