Trail Overview

This 9-mile out-and-back dirt road from Tibble Fork Reservoir to Silver Lake is beautiful and boasts mountain views. Make sure to bring your paddleboards and/or kayaks to use at either lake. The road is well maintained and driven by cars and vans but is narrow in a few places-not quite wide enough for 2 cars to pass comfortably.

When we started going back out from the lake, which was after the sunset approximately 7pm, there was A LOT of traffic towards the lake. Not sure why would that be - to my knowledge there are no campsites, and most vehicles did not have any campers on them. Some were regular 2WD low clearance ones.
