Trail Overview
Bass Lake has a mix of trees, wide-open ferns, and pine regrowth single track. You can either start from the trailhead or start from Bass Lake State Campground. Starting from Bass Lake State Campground, taking the trail counterclockwise is a nice warm-up. This trail has plenty of roots, rocks, not much sand, and a few small hills. There is no mobile reception at the campground or on the trail.
